Semi-unrelated: Why must Apple Software Update force iTunes on you along with the latest QuickTime? I do not want or need iTunes. Perhaps if I eventually get an iSomething I will try it, but for now I don’t need it.
I also have a slight disposition against it since it installs a CD driver layer (why?) which bricked the CD driver of a computer I used once. I fixed it but did note the driver layer was from iTunes. Someone probably tried uninstalling it by removing the directory.
